Privacy Policy

Last updated: August 12, 2026

This policy explains what information Online Scoreboard collects when you use the site, how it is used, and the choices you have. The short version: the scoreboard itself collects no personal information, the site uses cookie-free aggregate analytics, and if advertising is shown it is provided by Google AdSense under the controls described below.

Information you provide

The site has no user accounts and no forms that submit data to a server. Team names, scores, and clock settings you enter exist only in your browser's memory while the page is open; they are not transmitted to us or stored anywhere after you close the tab.

Analytics

We use Vercel Analytics to understand overall site usage, such as which scoreboard pages are visited and which features are used. This analytics service is designed to be privacy-friendly: it does not use cookies and does not track individual visitors across sites. The data we see is aggregate (for example, how many visits a page received), not a profile of you.

Advertising

The site may display advertising provided by Google AdSense to keep the scoreboard free. Google and its partners may use cookies or similar identifiers to serve ads, measure their performance, and — where you have consented — personalize them based on your visits to this and other websites.

You can learn how Google uses information from sites that use its services at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites, and manage ad personalization at adssettings.google.com. Visitors in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, and Switzerland are shown a consent message before any personalized advertising cookies are set, and can decline or later change their choice; ads shown without consent are non-personalized.

Cookies

Online Scoreboard does not set cookies of its own. The only cookies that may be set are those used by Google advertising as described above, subject to your consent where required. You can also block or delete cookies at any time through your browser settings.

Children

The site is a general-audience tool and does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children. Where advertising is shown, we rely on Google's controls for compliant ad serving.

Changes to this policy

If the way the site handles data changes — for example, if new features or services are added — this page will be updated and the date at the top revised.
